front End Developers

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement frontend aspects of our product
  • Bridge the gaps between user needs, graphical design and technical implementation
  • Participate in customer interviews to gather features/user needs
  • Contribute to product development roadmap and refinement of overall design aesthetic
  • Develop UI/UX wireframes and mockups and translate them to code
  • Work closely with founders and senior executives to build a great product

Skills

  • Mastery of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
  • Strong visual design and aesthetic skills
  • Experience in web application frameworks (AngularJS is a plus)
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • A link to any projects that you’ve worked on or to a public repository are a big plus
  • Professional, precise communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail (aesthetic and technical)

Back End Engineers

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with founders and senior executives to build all aspects of backend architecture
  • Manage the interchange of data between servers and users
  • Bridge the gaps between user needs, product roadmap and functional implementation
  • Contribute to product development roadmap and refinement of backend architecture
  • Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
  • Integrate the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application
  • Build our own API and integration with third party APIs
  • Implement business and technical metrics tracking systems for continuous process optimization
  • Manage large and disparate datasets and translate them into actionable insights

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language (Python is a plus)
  • Experience in web application frameworks (Flask is a plus)
  • Familiarity with some ORM libraries (SQLAlchemy is a plus)
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Ability to Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Data migration, transformation, and scripting
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
